The availability calendar is up-dated daily, however, please telephone or email me to ensure the dates you are interested in are still available. I will hold the dates you wish to book for three days to enable you to pay your deposit. I will not let the cottage to another guest without attempting to contact you first if you have asked me to hold a date for you. Please ensure that I have your contact details, i.e mobile telephone numbers, etc.
Bookings are for a week or more during the spring, summer and autumn. Part weeks and weekends are available from the end of November to the end of March each year, except for Christmas and New Year and half term weeks. A deposit of one third of the total cost is required to secure a booking; the balance to be paid six weeks before the date of arrival. Payment can be made either by cheque or by direct online banking, or credit card (a small charge might apply depending on card), which ever is easiest for you. I will confirm receipt of your deposit, setting out the details of the booking, and I will send you directions (etc) when I acknowledge receipt of your balance (or full amount if within six weeks of your holiday). It is a condition of booking to leave the cottage clean and tidy and to be responsible for any breakages, damages or losses incurred. Included: central heating in the cooler months and from October to April an initial large basket of logs and kindling for the open fire, electricity, bed linen, towels, bathrobes, tea towels. Free wifi.
No smoking in the cottage is requested.
There is plenty of car parking space. Pleasant country village shopping is within 15 minutes’ drive and large new supermarkets are about 20 minutes away. Asda and Tesco will deliver online food orders to Bluebell Cottage.
